Installs, configures, tests and maintains; server- and web-based systems on multiple enclaves to include on-premise and cloud (AWS), distributed applications, storage area network devices, messaging applications, and monitors items required to ensure functionality of systems in garrison and at deployed locations. Accomplishes system-wide backups and data recovery to ensure continued operations throughout the enterprise. Perform troubleshooting, fault isolation, root cause analysis, and provide corrective actions with validation of system operability. Utilizes enterprise tools to apply security patches and updates, to include Information Assurance Vulnerability Assessments (IAVA), Time Compliance Network Orders (TCNO) and Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO). Maintains baseline configurations and performs approved modifications. Documents processes, incidents, changes, Authorized Service Interruptions (ASI), and submits reports in response to unscheduled outages. Briefs leadership on courses of action for issue resolutions, manages projects, identifies risks, creates implementation guides and roll back plans. Performs account lifecycle management to include creation, modification, and deletion of user accounts and system access. Documents work accomplished in the trouble ticket system. Creates and reviews records in a problem management or knowledge management database and assigns priorities with assigned functional area. Coordinates with numerous functional areas to ensure timely completion of activities. Provides training and guidance to less advanced administrators. Applicants must have customer service skills which include the ability to meet goals in a timely manner, while being action-oriented, taking ownership, managing their time wisely and working effectively both independently and in a team environment.

Education Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.


Must meet DoD 8570.01 IAT Level-I requirements to start, IAT Level-II preferred (Sec+ CE)


MCSA or RHCSA certification required within 6 months of hire
