The SAAA provides a variety of services designed to help older residents of the northern Shenandoah Valley and the Board of Directors is seeking an Executive Director who has the skills and ability to provide leadership and oversight to a staff of 60+ and a $3 million annual budget. Candidates must have Bachelor’s degree (Masters preferred), at least 7 years of experience in successful nonprofit management with excellent skills in written and oral communication, budget development and implementation, fundraising, and creating working partnerships with other organizations. Must have a working knowledge of federal and state programs, and successful track record of securing grants. Working knowledge Medicaid and private health insurance as well as the Older Americans Act is a plus.
Must possess a valid driver’s license. Full-time position, Mon.-Fri. 8-4:30 p.m. Salary range is $70,000 to $85,000 annually depending upon experience.
