Pain Management- Portfolio Manager
Summary: GDIT has temporary position in support of the Clinical and Rehabilitative Medicine Research Program’s (CRMRP); a subordinate organization of USAMRMC. CRMRP core mission focuses on definitive and rehabilitative care innovations required to reset our wounded warriors, both in terms of duty performance and quality of life. Core program investments include research focused on rehabilitation and prosthetics, regenerative medicine and transplants, pain management and sensory systems (vision, hearing and balance). Expertise needed for CRMRP support is with-in a minimum of one of the following areas: immunology, audiology, optometry/ophthalmology, neuroscience, and cell biology, and/or biomaterials science and engineering, pain management. Experience in the military acquisition process is desirable. Key tasks associated with this position are to provide programmatic, scientific, and administrative support necessary for the management of the overall CRMRP project portfolio. Activities include:
- Coordinate the development of program solicitations, requests for and reviews of pre-proposals and proposalsAssist in preparation and staffing of documentation required to complete contract/grant awardsReview contract/grant reports in order to provide assessments of key accomplishments and their impact on programs. Maintain historical record of issues and their resolutionsAnalyze programmatic planning and execution dataDevelop Science and Technology Objective packages and support accepted programsPrepare for, conduct, and document, as required, review and analyses (R&As) of intramural and extramural efforts for varied audiencesProvide programmatic, technical, administrative, and analytical support for capability area managers, steering committees, and CRMRP-supported Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) Maintain CRMRP website for program announcements, proposal solicitation, data management, collection of progress reports and reviewsEstablish and maintain Program/Project Files and Databases on CRMRP common drive and website
- Masters Degree in a scientific discipline. PhD Preferred.
- 8-10 years of related experience in scientific research, analysis and/or engineering.
