Supervise and assigns tasking to warehouse personnel, including providing timely written reports to keep the customer and project manager up to date.Receives and stores materials in a warehouse or storage facility and packs orders in an orderly manner so materials are prepared for shipping to meet delivery schedules.Maintains inventory and identifies shortages or excessive usage and reports these findings to the customer and project manager.Marks or tags articles as necessary for identification purposes. Ensure all comments and previous markings on material are removed and packaged as new prior to shipping. Retrieves stored material when requested, transports it to the requester, and returns material to storage when approval by the customer has been received.Develops and maintains effective warehouse storage practices that promote efficient storage, identification and retrieval.Maintains warehouse and shipping records (DD-1149) and may use automated warehouse management system.Operates hand and/or power equipment, including forklift, for material handling.Ability to lift items on a regular basis (Test, troubleshoot, configure and/or repair parts, may be required.Verifies inventory records by matching labels, containing the part number, program, nomenclature, location and serial number with the inventory assets list.Keeps the warehouse clean and safe, while optimizing space and maintaining safety standards.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or a related administrative discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
5-8 years of related experience in logistics management with working knowledge of export control and compliance, preferably in the professional services industry.
Comprehensive working knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and other US Government import and export regulations, especially related to the professional services industry. Familiarity with US Government electronic license applications such as D-Trade, SNAP, and AES. Demonstrated effective communication skills, including training and presentation skills.
