General Description:The Site Manager (SM) is the primary point of contact for the local customer and the company to ensure quality on-site Task Order performance. The SM provides vision and leadership to contracted employees of the MTC and works closely with the MTC government Director to ensure that customer training objectives are met. Working as a team, the Site Manager fuses Statement of Work (SOW) tasks with MTC Director’s local policies and procedures to produce consistent, timely, and accurate delivery of quality training products and support. Acting as the point of contact for rapid resolution of questions and issues, the SM coordinates scheduling, operations, training, personnel certifications, maintenance, repair, and calibration required for task order performance. The SM establishes processes and supervises MTC contract personnel to achieve the tasks associated with the SOW. The SM ensures a safe and secure work environment that encourages continual organizational assessment and improvement. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Performs management duties associated with a MTC. These duties regularly include timecard management, annual evaluation/ merit increase, other personnel actions (recruitment/terminations), security clearance verification, employee educational benefit consideration, Field Budget Estimates, approval of TDY claims, periodic Performance Management Reviews, analysis of contract staff performance in support of tasks as prescribed in the SOW, special projects and other duties as assigned.Anticipates future requirements and then provides the vision, guidance, purpose, motivation, direction and supervision necessary to realize those requirements. Because of the rapid pace of technological advances, future requirements often include modernization of simulation hardware and software and regular upgrades to Mission Command Systems. This ensures MTC equipment and training accurately reflect current Army doctrine and capabilities. Builds relationships with local commanders and their staffs as a method of increasing knowledge and awareness of the MTC and its capabilities as a critical installation training enabler. Ensures accurate scheduling, coordination, planning, preparation, and execution of Mission Command training. He develops and implements efficient and effective processes to accomplish all levels and variations of Mission Command training in support of the SOW. The SM ensures that all customer’s training objectives are met as fully as possible.Provides for Continuous Process Improvement (quality assurance and quality control) by developing and executing ISO 9001 related processes and procedures. Through this methodology the SM ensures the organization maintains relevancy and effectiveness in delivering the best training product possible.
