TSCM Specialists will conduct ad hoc testing using equipment from the Government's TSCM inventory. 

 

Inspect sites to ensure compliance with ICD 705, ICD 702, and other applicable regulations; create a TSCM Site Survey Report and SOCOMM message for customer approval and release; and record the documents and task closure in a customer database. Produce reports with photos and descriptions of any anomalies or discoveries. Report and close the task in a customer database. The Government estimates a total of 20 deliverables every 6 months.

 

Conduct ad hoc testing using equipment from the Government's TSCM inventory. Produce an Ad Hoc Testing Technical Report with photos and descriptions of any anomalies, concerns, or discoveries. The Contractor shall record the report and close the task in FIAT. The Government estimates 1 deliverable every 6 months.

 

GDIT duties may include:

Designs, evaluates, plans, tests, and operates electrical, electronic, mechanical, and/or computer components, equipment and systems.

1. Performs advanced engineering work concerned with the design, evaluation, planning, testing and operation of electrical, electronic, mechanical, and/or computer components, equipment and systems for commercial, government, military and/or scientific uses.

 2. Directs various tests and analyzes and documents results.

 3. Identifies and documents clients' functional requirements.

 4. Reviews, writes, and provides updates to technical documentation.

 5. Develops research & development plans.

 6. Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced engineers and engineering support staff, and may have supervisory responsibilities.

 7. May serve as technical team or task lead.

 8. Makes changes to methods, design or equipment where necessary.

 9. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.

 10. Participates in special projects as required.

Education Masters Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

Qualifications 8-10 years of related engineering experience.

 

  • Personnel performing TSCM inspections and related tasks shall have successfully completed the TSCM Fundamentals Course at the lnteragency Training Center (ITC), and the NSA/Central Security Service operated center for TSCM training
  • Must be able lift and carry equipment up to 75 pounds
  • Must complete at least 40 hours of discipline-specific development or refresher training every fiscal year.
