Job Description:
Sentara RMH Outpatient Behavioral Health in Harrisonburg, VA is seeking a full time (36 hours per week) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

POSITION OVERVIEW
Seeking applicants with experience and a passion for working in the substance abuse field with an adult population (adolescents a plus). Must have substance abuse certification or currently working towards earning such.

Position will be responsible for Inpatient groups, Partial Hospitalization Program groups and Substance Abuse Treatment groups.

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday: 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

REQUIREMENTS
Experience: Social Worker - 2 years
Education: Master's Level Degree - Social Work
License/Certification: Current Virginia Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker participates as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team to establish comprehensive and integrated plans for each patient. Involvement entails both delivery of clinical services and referrals to appropriate community resources and other professionals. Assists patients and their families in meeting psychosocial needs which predispose illness or interfere with achieving an optimal level of care. Assesses the social, psychological, cultural, environmental and financial situations, as well as disposition needs, for each assigned patient.
