SUMMARY

This position involves working on government contracts with Federal agencies. Responsibilities include providing logistical support and technical assistance, documenting activities, and maintaining electronic records.

KNOWLEDGE and SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Bachelor’s degree and 0–2 years work experience
  2. Professional verbal and written communication skills
  3. Computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), with the ability to learn other software applications
  4. Ability to work in a team environment managing multiple tasks and competing priorities
  5. Strong organizational skills, including close attention to details and deadlines
  6. High energy level

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES for HEALTH AGENCY CLIENT

Responding to recipient/provider inquiries received via phone and e‐mail

 

  1. Answer phones and respond to recipient/provider requests
  2. Respond to recipient/provider e‐mails
  3. Log all TA inquiries and resolutions into local tracking system, TA Tracker
  4. Provide recipient/providers with reporting and program policy information as needed
  5. Provide training for new recipients/providers by phone
  6. Analyze program policy and assist recipients/providers with budget development and fiscal reporting
  7. Refer or transfer recipient/providers to appropriate staff/TA resource
  8. Identify, research, and resolve recipient/provider issues using the computer system
  9. Follow up on inquiries not immediately resolved
  10. Recognize, document, and alert supervisor of trends in recipient/provider calls
  11. Recommend process improvements
  12. Take on other related duties as assigned
