AboutWeb LLC an innovative, HUBZone Certified, IT Government Contractor has an immediate opening for a Sales Manager to focus on growing existing relationships with government contractors and Federal agencies. This Sales Manager will focus on business development in securing Prime Information Technology Government Contracts directly with federal government agencies or indirectly via subcontracting with system integrators. AboutWeb already has master contracts in place with a number of the largest government contractors but we are looking to expand our business with them to continue our growth.
Duties will involve full life cycle business development including: building relationships with key decision makers, business development, qualifying leads , capture strategy, proposal writing and coordination with the project team during and after contract award.
This Sales position will require a person who can work independently and as part of a team, is well organized, self-motivated and success driven. Ideal candidate is someone who has the drive, determination and willingness to succeed and is capable of leading the effort to continue to develop this practice area for the company.
This position will be part of the senior leadership team helping to guide the future growth of the company in both the Federal and State practice areas as well as be involved in key strategic decisions for AboutWeb's overall growth.
4 years of experience in Federal sales with strong knowledge of government procurement process.
Experience with technology service sales as related to time and materials, fixed price or other type of government contracts.
Solid understanding of the procurement process and what it takes to achieve success in RFP and bid process as well as implementing contract awards and delivery.
Proven track record of success in obtaining Federal contracts with strong presentation/communication skills.
Base Salary plus Bonuses/Commissions.
