The Enterprise Architect will report to and support the Senior Enterprise Architect function in the establishment of an enterprise architecture framework and practice, supporting tools and underlying repository.

Responsibilities:

1. Execute the duties of Deputy Chair of the Architecture Review Board to review, assess and approve all infrastructure and application projects for compliance with enterprise architecture and variance
2. Assist engineering and project groups in designing and documenting solution designs compliant with enterprise architecture
3. Operate as Service Manager for Planview Troux Enterprise Architecture platform and system expert for all solution architects and engineers utilizing the platform
4. Implement and provide subject matter expertise for enterprise architecture methodology and framework (TOGAF preferred)
5. Develop business case analysis on potential projects
6. Ensure security is integrated into all architecture solutions
7. Act as a subject-matter expert to multiple tasks and/or programs.
8. Report on progress and metrics
9. Evaluate new application, infrastructure and cloud decisions in existing context of applications, infrastructure, standards, current business strategy and future business strategy
10. Determine system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility
11. Provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced IT staff and may have supervisory responsibilities
12. Provide high level expertise to multiple projects and tasks
13. Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
14. Participate in special projects as required

Education 1. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

 2. Masters Degree preferred.

Qualifications 10-15 years of related systems engineering experience.

 

1. Expert knowledge of information technology principles, methods, and techniques.
2. Expert knowledge of Enterprise Architecture TOGAF standard and best practices for implementation
3. Experience in implementing, using and supporting PlanView Troux platform
