Frame is looking for a self-motivated Operations Engineer (Ops Eng) who will be responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation and maintenance of systems hardware/software and related infrastructure. Ops Eng will participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. Ops Eng individuals ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems and related procedures adhere to organizational values in order to enable staff, customers, and partners.


  • Build, evaluate, deploy and support tools and processes necessary to operate development, test, and production environments 
  • Assist with packaging of the Frame Platform for various deployment scenarios (cloud, on-prem, disconnected, etc) 
  • Deploy and provide level 1-3 hands-on support of Frame Government Platforms running in AWS, Azure, and in disconnected locations 
  • Serve as a technical liaison between disconnected deployments and Frame engineering teams 
  • Work closely with Frame Solution Architects to ensure customers integrating with the Frame Platform are successful 
  • Troubleshoot customer integration issues as required 
  • Identify areas of inefficiency or improvement in deployed environments and work with Product Engineers in order to deploy relevant solutions 
  • Build tools to automate common manual tasks


  • Expert background in Linux/Unix Administration (CentOS/RHEL and Ubuntu) 
  • Hands-on experience with automation/configuration management using either Puppet, Chef, or an equivalent 
  • Experience with a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services 
  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate 
  • Demonstrated experience with SQL and MySQL 
  • A strong understanding of code development and scripting (PHP, Python, Perl and/or Ruby) 
  • Experience with IT operations best practices with cloud enabled highly-available services 
  • Experience managing Windows Server environments 
  • Experience running large scale deployments in AWS or on-prem 
  • Ability to participate in a regular on-call rotation as necessary 
  • Ability/willingness to travel to customer sites 
  • Experience working in environments with high security/compliance requirement 
  • Top Secret // SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph


  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Professional 
  • Strong experience programming in Python/Perl/Java/Shell (at least two) 
  • Production experience with Puppet/Chef/Salt/Ansible or similar tools 
  • Experience managing continuous integration systems and deployment frameworks 
  • Experience running large scale deployments in multiple cloud providers or across multiple cloud providers 
  • Knowledge of networking, VPNs, and load balancers


  • 2+ years in system DevOps experience


  • Bachelor's or equivalent experience (preferred)
