Sanitation Technician Lead
Job DescriptionJob Description for: Sanitation Technician LeadReports to: Director of QualityEssential Job Functions and Responsibilities:Support the Quality Director in the maintenance and development of all current and future regulatory programs that (HACCP, BRC, SSOP, GMP, FDA, MSC)Physically observe sanitation procedures for all levels of employment, coach employees on proper procedure and technique. Report corrective actions to Quality Director and pertinent managers.Verify sanitation was properly done at the end of each shift. Verify sanitation sheets properly completed.Complete tasks outlined on the master cleaning sheets.Supervise trash and recycling programs (trailers)Develop and author procedures, as needed, to support quality and operations departments in the proper sanitation of the facilityMaintain sanitation room and monitor of sanitation equipmentMaintain inventory of chemicals, PPE and sanitation toolsSupport training of employees for sanitation related educationResearch and study food processing, current industry events, changes, mandates, etc. to keep a safe, clean, facilityMeet established goals and objectives by set deadlines and complete them in a thorough mannerPerform other duties as assigned by supervisor, as neededRoutine Tasks:Verification of Daily Sanitation SheetsCompletion of Master Cleaning sheetsInventory chemicals and PPEMonitor Pallet and Recycling TrailersDaily Protein ChecksWeekly Listeria TestingSkills:Able to work with a multicultural teamProficiency with computers - used for inventory and communicating coaching and equipment ordersWriting skills - needed for all documentationCompany DescriptionJJ McDonnell & Co., Inc. has been in business since 1945.
