The Senior Events Specialist is a pivotal member of the Marketing organization. Responsibilities include designing, planning and executing marketing events such as trade shows and customer related events, specifically coordinating all required logistics; partnering with and managing vendors; developing necessary presentation and materials support; and ensuring successful event execution. The incumbent must exhibit an exceptional commitment to accuracy, attention to detail and possess strong organizational skills. The Senior Events Specialist will partner with the Principal Experiential Marketing Manager as well as marketing managers and others across the Marketing team to plan and execute industry events as outlined in each eventA cents € (TM) s strategic objectives and goals. Organizes meeting/event logistics, planning, tradeshow management and all Marketing-owned events.Develops and implements event show plans, in partnership with marketing managers and Principal Experiential Marketing Manager.Responsible for coordinating all tradeshow assets according to events calendar, ensuring booth resources are available and coordinated for shows in advance.Ensures all internal and external event calendars are up-to-date with details for appropriate promotions and visibility. Conducts research and makes recommendations for events to include special venues, transportation, catering companies, entertainment, and other required resources to execute intended experiences. Collaborates with internal and external partners/stakeholders to ensure timely and effective execution of event details. Helps track all event-associated budgets to ensure spend meets event budget.Partners with Creative team to ensure new or existing tradeshow and event materials are developed and executed for key company-hosted events, as required. Ensures that all event materials and/or collateral meet brand guidelines and are received in a timely manner for successful information sharing on-site.Partners with the Principal Experiential Marketing Manager to plan and execute key strategic events that require cross-organizational input and alignment (HIMSS, Annual Customer Forum and others as needed.) Provides recommendations on policies, processes, and procedures to solve problems or improve effectiveness of function.Provides post-event evaluation and reporting in partnership with Principal Experiential Marketing Manager and Interactive Marketing & Advertising team to ensure event data and trends are captured (eg inputs into marketing dashboard, analysis and reporting to leads program, customer meetings, and media metrics). Basic requirements: BachelorsA cents € (TM) degree or equivalent experience5+ years of event management, marketing, communications and/ or project management experience Experience with tools and technologies to effectively manage events end-to-end Passion and interest in social media engagement to promote key eventsExperience planning and executing events ranging in size and level of detail that require development of integrated communication materialsStrong organizational and planning skills with ability to work under pressureExcellent communications and interpersonal skills with ability to interact with individuals at all levels High proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point) Preferred QualificationsBachelorA cents € (TM) s degree in Liberal Arts or Marketing or an Events Management Certificate (CMP or CMM) Experience with a B2B healthcare company, healthcare technology or other corporate environmentExperience with SalesForce.com Knowledge and experience with marketing automation tools such as HubSpot Familiarity with project management tools such base Basecamp and JIRARequired:Works independently on moderately complex projects/assignments and sets objectives for own job area to meet the goals of projects and assignmentsCapacity to problem-solve on own through drawing from prior experience with analysis of the issuesAnalytical thinking, interpersonal and communication skills, project management, entrepreneurial Creative out of the box thinker who is intellectually curiousComfort with ambiguity and the ability to forge ahead on initiatives not done before recognizing there will be obstacles to overcome along the way Ability to communicate with and gain credibility with team members, customer partners and senior executivesMotivated, possessing vision, exceptional ability and enthusiasmStrong communication skills A cents € " verbal, written and presentation.
