Purpose/Primary Function: Responsible for development and execution of digital marketing efforts that support and grow the Trex brand as the clear and preeminent leader in Outdoor Living. Manage multi-platform digital campaign development and execution, including agency briefing (identifying Digital consumer insights and business goals), creative evaluation, media plan & placement evaluation, and campaign performance, optimization and evaluation. Ensure that digital efforts align with and support the brand positioning and other marketing efforts including advertising, PR, social media and customer service efforts. Leverage brand equity to drive successful company growth. Key Duties and Responsibilities:Understand and apply the nuances of the Trex Consumer Purchase Journey, and its drop-off points as a guide to develop digital support and activation elements that solve and eliminate barriers to a positive consumer experience. Reduce the instances of consumer drop-off in the purchase journey.Become the go-to/internal expert on emerging technologies, best practices and competitive landscape.Manage and drive day-to-day relationships with key agency partners covering paid search, SEO and content development, including management of digital content calendars and supporting agency/vendor resources.Understand and apply the nuances of the Trex consumer purchase journey, and its drop-off points, as a guide to develop digital support and activation elements that solve and eliminate barriers to a positive consumer experience. Reduce the instances of consumer drop-off in the purchase journey.Recommend appropriate levels of marketing spend on digital efforts to deliver long-term business objectives. Manage corresponding budgets to deliver company and departmental objectives.Plan, measure and report performance of digital marketing campaigns against key brand metrics and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs.) Develop and implement recommendations for on-going improvements.Work closely with the Trex IT department to optimize Trex websites, content and applications that further the brand marketing goals; leverage the business intelligence garnered from these digital assets to drive ongoing enhancements.Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitive activities to identify opportunities and key issues.Manage international marketing efforts to help fuel global expansion of the brand.Assist in developing a deep understanding of consumer and trade needs, attitudes and behaviors. Translate that knowledge into actionable marketing strategies to grow the brand.Required SkillsRequired Experience 6-8 years of proven marketing experience in marketing for a company with a well-known brand/portfolio of consumer brandsDrive for results and leadership skillsExcellent understanding of the full marketing mixExtensive expertise in Digital Marketing, including CRM campaigns and understanding of digital advertising metrics (CPM/CPC/CPA) and online tracking tools.Highly organize and detail-oriented coupled with ability to prioritizeHighly creative with ability to think out of the boxExperience identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that inform, engage and drive brand preferenceStrong analytical skills and data-driven thinkingExceptional communication and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to all levels, including senior managementUp-to-date with latest trends and marketing best practicesComfortable working with numbers, metrics and spreadsheetsBA/BS in Business or Marketing, MBA preferredStrong project management skills with proven ability to manage multiple complex tasks/projects while demonstrating composure and flexibilityE-commerce experience preferredAbility to manage and enhance external agency relationships through ongoing communication and direction to produce best-in-class workJob LocationWinchester, VA
