Avalere Health is seeking a Manager within our Product Sales team to join our Client Solutions practice. The practice focuses on business development, account relationship management, and product sales for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, device, and diagnostic companies. The ideal candidate is a persuasive leader, who can comfortably explain a concept, and then map a potential clientA cents € (TM) s problems to AvalereA cents € (TM) s solutions. These leaders are a crucial part of AvalereA cents € (TM) s growth, and will do everything from help launch new programs and lines of business to generate interest and connections on existing products and programs across our industry. This Manager will be selling Business Intelligence solutions intended for life sciences companies including, but not limited to: subscription-based research programs such as AvalereA cents € (TM) s Policy 360 product, or data analytics platforms such as AvalereA cents € (TM) s Vantage CPS product. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Demonstrate and communicate the ROI of a productProspect and build new business within an assigned territory; acquire new clients successfully and negotiate to expand products and solutions for existing clientsBuild relationships to discuss clientsA cents € (TM) strategic and operational challenges, and map AvalereA cents € (TM) s solutions to those challengesConduct consultative onsite and online presentations to educate prospective clients on our services, including articulating a compelling vision of client solutionsNegotiate pricing and contracts with prospective clientsMeet quarterly and annual revenue goals through management of a sales pipeline with pursuits in various stages of the evaluation processMaintain up-to-date knowledge of competitorsProvide insights from business development activities to inform future research initiatives and new product development inquiriesCollaborate with team member to set and achieve goals, provide formal feedback, and guidance on professional development Skills, Experience, and Other Job Related Requirements: The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications: BachelorA cents € (TM) s Degree or equivalent in experience, with 4-6 years of total work experienceMust possess a minimum of two years of post-undergrad experience in at least three of the following: Presentation experience; Leadership experience; Commercial experience; Consulting experience; Teaching experience; Sales experienceProven ability to meet and exceed goalsExperience managing multiple, competing prioritiesAbility to conduct presentations and facilitate group discussionsProven negotiation and persuasion skillsDemonstrated listening skillsWillingness to travel domestically up to 50%Valid DriverA cents € (TM) s LicenseThe following qualifications are not required but preferred: Consultative-based sales experienceExperience in an entrepreneurial settingExperience selling to or for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, device, and diagnostic companies How to Apply: All applications should be submitted through the Careers section of our website at: avalere.com/careers.
