The Authority is seeking a highly motivated Supervisor, Process Control.Plans and directs activities concerned with the SCADA Program and Process Control Engineering for the water, sewer and storm sewer engineering program management.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:A cents € cents Directs activities of SCADA Analysts engaged in Operations and Maintenance of the SCADA System including preparing designs, plans and specifications to construct, enlarge, or modify such facilities as water transmission and distribution lines, sanitary and storm trunk and collection sewers and water and sewer pumping stations.A cents € cents Validates Control and Process Narrative and all related engineering/maintenance documentation (P&IDA cents € (TM) s, Loop Diagrams, PID Control Loops etc.) with SCADA Operations.A cents € cents Manages multiple program management contracts to ensure that the goals of the SCADA Program are met, including System integrity, cyber security, access control etc.A cents € cents Establishes Service Level Agreements (SLA) with service providers including hardware and software support. Coordinate with IT to determine communication hardware uptime requirements and develop policies and procedures to be followed by staff. A cents € cents Manages service contracts for On-call support, Software and hardware updates and patches.A cents € cents Provides on-site investigation and assessment of existing water, sewer and storm sewer piping systems, and proposes recommendations for improvements to design, operations or maintenance.A cents € cents Coordinates the preparation of engineering design standards, including SOP development and maintenance updates.A cents € cents Responsible for the accuracy of Control Narratives, HMI and OIT related documentation. Direct the SCADA Analysts to review SCADA data and trending requirements with Operations and Maintenance.A cents € cents Manages work assignments through the Work Management System and recommends repair and rehab decisions accordingly.A cents € cents Leads review of and ownership of commissioning plans and system loop checks for Operations, Maintenance and Construction projects including Facility Acceptance Tests (FAT), and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).A cents € cents Responsible to audit and be accountable for the change management process for SCADA, including developing and delivering training plans for Operations and Maintenance.A cents € cents Coordinates with IT and the Office of Emergency Management to ensure system hardware and software meet the policies and procedures outlined within DC Water. Develop related programs to adhere to meeting internal and external audits. A cents € cents Coordinates activities involving water and sewer issues within DC Water and externally with other agencies like DHS and HSEMA.A cents € cents Performs routine technical and administrative functions including attending DC Water and/or departmental policy meetings, and preparation of status reports for Authority management.A cents € cents Performs other duties and projects as assigned at the discretion of the Manager, SCADA and PCS Operations.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:A cents € cents BachelorA cents € (TM) s Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university and seven (7) years of progressive experience in Control Systems in design and engineering projects, including construction; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
