Responsible for the analysis, administration and support of voice, video, and/or data communications networks.

    Comprehensive knowledge of routers, switches, patch panels, concentrators, associated terminals, and related network hardware and software. Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in network administration and support. Analyzes, administers and maintains voice, video, and data communications networks.  Experience with Enterprise level implementation and configuration of CISCO VoIP technologies.In-depth knowledge of WAN architectures and ability to troubleshoot complex routing issues.In-depth knowledge and remediation methodologies of DISA compliance standards and checklists. Maintains network security and ensures compliance with security policies and procedures.  Possess a working knowledge of Riverbed technologies to include SteelFusion implementation and administration. Participates in the development and implementation of network-related procedures and standards.  Support VPN devices and have a solid understanding of IPSec, SSL and encryption technologies, using certificates.Demonstrate ability to implement Cisco ASAs, routers, switch, VPNs, and VLANs in a highly secure and highly available/redundant configuration Knowledge of managing VoIP systems utilizing Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs) and measuring Quality of Service (QoS) of telephony or computer networksCCNA or equivalent certification required.
Education Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

Qualifications 5-8 years of directly related experience in network administration and support.


    Must possess and maintain a US Secret Security Clearance. Must be able to achieve Security+ CE Certification (or equivalent) within 90 days of hire for positions requiring elevated privileges and ITIL V3 Foundation within six months of hire.Additional specific certifications may be required, depending on job assignment.This position may be required to complete short-term deployments to austere locations worldwideMust be able to pass all pre-deployment requirements (medical, dental, and psychological) and be able to obtain all required immunizations deemed necessary.

The work is typically performed at client site locations, which requires proper safety precautions; work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment.
