Job DescriptionJob Description:This position is responsible for guiding prospective students and/or their parents/guardians throughout the entire admissions/recruitment process up to and including the following responsibilities:Appointment SettingExtensive outreach to inquiries through phone calls, email and mail correspondenceAdheres to school guidelines when communicating with prospective studentsInputs all activity into database management system in a timely and accurate mannerInterviewingAccurately and compliantly communicates the campus features and program information to prospective studentsConducts in-person interviews and tours of the campus with prospective students in order to evaluate the students' interest, needs and motivationKeeps current on program offerings and seeks product knowledgeFollow-UpParticipates in follow-up activities such as graduation preview, open houses, etc.Maintains a cooperative and collaborative relationship with all departments to ensure a positive outcome for the studentPromptly submits required weekly reportsInquiry GenerationDevelops creative approaches to generate and develop inquiriesParticipates in community events to reach prospective students, and enhance the overall visibility and image of the collegeActively seeks to develop referrals for the college Qualifications2-3 years of successful sales experience, to include telephone appointment setting, interviewing, closing and follow-up skillsProprietary school admissions experience a plusOrganize and execute around multiple prioritiesSchedule appointments and interview prospective studentsClose and follow-up with studentsMotivate others to act, to include overcoming objections and resistance to changeSpeak effectively to both large and small groups of peoplePrepare and conduct effective presentationsDemonstrate excellent listening skills, to include listening not only for content but for motiveProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint to prepare and maintain records, correspondence, reports and other dataWork days and some evenings and Saturdays if/when requiredAttend meetings, training events, which may include occasional travelEmbrace and demonstrate on an ongoing basis the company's core values of Continuous Improvement, Excellence, Innovation, Integrity, Respect, Service, Teamwork, and Having Fun Job RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree required BenefitsMedical, dental and vision insurance401kFree lunch dailyCompany DescriptionL'Academie de Cuisine's mission is to provide substantive, professional training programs in the culinary and pastry arts that prepare students for employment and advancement in the multi-faceted food-service industry.In constant pursuit of that mission, we seek to graduate high quality, well-trained cooks in response to the industry's evolving needs.
