Position Summary The Sales Manager reports directly to the General Sales Manager. General responsibilities are to assist in meeting the sales and settlement goals for the respective community as established by the General Sales Manager. While striving to attain these goals, the Sales Manager must ensure that a professional atmosphere is created and adhered to by conducting himself in a fair and equitable manner. Additionally, the Sales Manager must adhere to the rules and guidelines, as required by Fair Housing Laws.Key Duties And ResponsibilitiesMeet sales, and settlement goals as defined by the General Sales ManagerMaintain an active role in all aspects of customer service, setting and managing all homeowners expectations through their home buying processProcure and follow up on sales leads to produce salesGuide and advise buyers through the New Home Sales ProcessComplete accurate and timely contract paperworkFollow and track loans at assigned communityInform homebuyers of construction status, estimated delivery date, etc. throughout the home buying processImplement sales plan for assigned communityMaintain Sales Simplicity systemFollow up with past traffic on daily / weekly basis through phone calls, written correspondence, other mailingsSelf-generate traffic through visits to realtor offices, mailing flyers, presentations to clubs and organizations, and relationships with relocation companiesMaintenance of sales office and model homesAttendance at sales meetings, as well as, other periodic meetingsGeneral knowledge of home-building market and competition to assigned communityWeekly submission of reporting required by General Sales ManagerQualifications & RequirementsEducation or related experience in the construction industry is an assetCoursework towards the New Homes Sales Professional certification or certification would be considered an assetA proven track record of new home salesHighly organized and detail orientatedThe ability to learn fast and think on the goStrong verbal and written communication skillsA proven ability to manage varied clientele with individual needsMust be available to work on weekends The CompanyBrookfield Residential is a leading North American land developer and homebuilder with one goal in mind - to create the best places to call home.
