The Salon Manager is responsible for all facets of the salonA cents € (TM) s operations and provides leadership and tools for the staff to help them increase their clientele and the business. The Salon Manager is a working manager position, and he or she will provide all hair care services offered by Supercuts and ensure the highest quality of guest service standards and salon profitability. Supercuts endeavors to provide every guest with a great experience every time they visit by providing quality consultations, exceptional service, and the knowledge to duplicate the desired look at home.RESPONSIBILITIESProvides excellent guest services by listening to and understanding the guestA cents € (TM) s needs, providing quality consultations, and performing services requested in an efficient and professional mannerPromotes products and services designed to help guests get the style they wantPerforms administrative tasks such as completing transactions on the computerized register, performing close-out procedures, and completing light housekeeping dutiesCompletes salon schedules and all banking procedures, oversees and manages salon inventory, and coordinates/oversees staff meetings and any training or other salon eventsResolves customer service issues escalated by staffLeads and develops staff by creating a positive work environment, providing training and guidance on business and technical competency matters, and resolving associate issuesFollows all corporate policies, procedures, and work rulesQUALIFICATIONSCurrent cosmetology or barber license as required by local and state lawsCurrent manager license as required by local and state lawsMust be able to lead and develop a team effectively; previous supervisory/management experience requiredMust be able to provide exceptional guest service and resolve guest issuesMust have excellent time management skills, good judgment, and the ability to multi-taskMust have proficient computer skills, including basic data entry skills and the ability to complete point-of-sale system (POS) transactionsMust be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekendsMust be able to stand for long periods; lift between 10-25 pounds; perform repetitive movements with fingers, hands, wrists, and arms; and perform continuous grasping and reaching, often above shoulder levelMust be willing and able to work in an environment that includes exposure to various chemicals and fragrances used in performing servicesMust be able to observe guests' hair, which involves using close vision and color vision and adjusting focusMust be able to communicate with guests regarding services offered and requested and the guests' needs and wantsMust be willing and able to travel occasionally to mandatory meetings and training sessions, including overnight travelBENEFITSExcellent Advancement OpportunitiesEmployee DiscountsContinuing Education PlanPaid vacation401K plan after one yearA cents € <
