LCG is seeking an Application Developer skilled in .NET /C#, with experience in SharePoint technologies and developing web based applications. The candidate will design, develop test plans and conduct test activities, create/maintain technical and user documentation. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Must have ability to engage key client personnel and participate in all areas of the development life-cycle. Should be comfortable handling new challenges involving emerging technologies. Experience:Must have 2-3 years of experience in object oriented application development using the Microsoft Visual Studio .Net development environment to develop web based intranet/extranet/internet types of applicationsMust be familiar with ASP Classic and .Net/ASPX development, C#, Visio Studio, SQL Server 2008 R2 and higher; Internet Information Server.Must have experience in working with Visual StudioExperience with Microsoft SQL Server Database development using stored procedures, functions and general database design in standard query language (SQL)Experience with CMSExperience in design, development, deployment and maintenance of SharePoint Products & Technologies.Understanding of Quality Control and Assurance procedures and ability to perform QA testing on systems and applications as well as reporting and maintaining resultsMust work well as a member of a team as well as independentlyMust understand Section 508 compliance requirements and web formatted graphicsDemonstrated ability to employ industry best practices toward development process, documentation and SDLC is requiredParticipate in functional requirements, design, user-interface development, testing and documentation discussionsDemonstrated knowledge of Quality Assurance and ControlHands-on knowledge with system testing, UAT, script testing, and developing test cases Assist with the maintenance and updating of the web site contentContribute to SharePoint related policies/procedures and application integration and maintain related documentationConsults with customers when necessary to identify and implement SharePoint requirementsAssist in recognizing and mitigating risks pre- and post-migration, and upgrade testing of contentTools:Microsoft Visual Studio 10 and higherInfoPathSharePointSQL Server 2008CMS.NET, C#NIH or HHS experience a plusEducation:BachelorA cents € (TM) s degree 2-4 years demonstrated experienceCertifications a plus
