Desktop Support Technician
Job DescriptionInsight Global has a 2-3 month surge effort at the Mark Center and the Pentagon supporting a desktop support project. Even if you were able to do part time for at least 4 hours a day between 8:30-4:30 Mon-Fri, I would be interested in discussing this with you if you were available based on your current shift situation. This is an immediate need and we are open to paying a markup for desktop support for a surge period. We can have you start immediately if you meet the qualifications!Responsibilities:Responds to and diagnoses problems through discussion with usersEnsures a timely process through which problems are controlled. Includes problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up stepsProvides support to end users on a variety of issuesIdentifies, researches, and resolves technical problemsDocuments, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolutionProvides second-tier support to end users for either PC, server, or mainframe applications or hardwareInteract with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problemQualifications:At least 1 Year of Desktop Support experience supporting Windows 7/10 machines and familiar with some sort of ticketing system.Interim DOD Secret One of the following certifications-Security Plus CE, GSEC, SSCP, GCIH, CISA, CISSP, or GCEDCompany DescriptionInsight Global is one of the largest IT service providers in the nation with hundreds of opportunities in the DC Metropolitan area.
