Availability immediate Scope of Work We are seeking an Oracle Developer for a contract that we hold with our current client, The United States Department of State to provide a broad range of computer and software assistance services HR organization, in sustaining and maintaining a high quality, heterogeneous computing environment and providing support services in compliance with appropriate federal standards and regulations. Duties and Responsibilities This position is dedicated to the development and O&M tasks in support of database interfaces. Skills include Oracle PL/SQL, and significant experience with database design and development. Knowledge of Cold Fusion and/or .Net is preferred along with JQuery, Ajax, and JavaScript. Understand and execute all phases of the standard Software Development Life Cycle - including technical requirements analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, training and system support. Design and implement system improvements, configuration changes, test patches and upgrades, and modify applications to support applications and Interface processes. Provide tier 3 Help Desk support for data brokers, Interfaces, and other HR Online applications. Assist other technical teams to recognize, diagnose, and resolve complex problems or potential conflicts between technologies and platforms within the IT environment. Essential Requirements A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. 5+ years of experience designing, developing, implementing Oracle software development usage of Oracle's suite of technologies Strong skills in understanding of Oracle architecture In depth experience designing and implementing a large enterprise Experience designing and implementing data models in varied environments Experienced database developer using Oracle database Excellent writing and documentation skills Experience working with stakeholders to identify and understand business processes and requirements End-user familiarity Work Location Department of State, Washington DC Security & Requirements Security Clearance A US Public Trust Clearance (NACI) is required. Must currently possess or be able to obtain the clearance prior to starting. Must be a US Citizen
