Outside Sales Support Rep
Job Description Position Summary: This role focuses on supporting and partnering with the Sales team and liaising with the Sourcing/Purchasing team to ensure quotes are generated in a timely fashion, orders are processed/tracked and client needs are satisfied. The successful candidate will be a quick thinking and organized multi-tasker committed to supporting our first responders and military clients. Strong communication skills and prioritizing/project management skills required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with the designated Sales team to generate quotes and sales orders in a timely fashion. Collaborate with Operations team to obtain relevant information on the Sales quote / order (pricing, order status, delivery status etc.) Update ERP system (Epicor) with quote information. Work with Sales team to update Salesforce and notify Sales team on expiring or closed opportunities. Assist Sales team with special projects or campaigns as needed. Develop an understanding of business lines and respective solutions/capabilities provided to clients. Help ensure compliance with contract and regulations (Defense Acquisition, Federal Acquisition and export) Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM and ERP Demonstrate commitment quality, continuous improvement and success of Sales & Operations. Handle other work related duties and projects as assigned. Requirements: Prior Sales Adminstration, Customer Service, Inside Sales or Project Management experience preferred. Minimum of two to four years of relevant work experience. Associates degree preferred, high school diploma required. Solid understanding of Customer Service fundamentals. Government contract experience preferred.
