Venable LLP is seeking a progressive, collaborative, and self-motivated individual for an exciting opportunity! The Recruiting Coordinator will be responsible for providing recruiting, HR operations and administrative project support to the Human Resources Department located in Baltimore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Supporting firm wide staff recruiting efforts & HR operations through the following activities:Scheduling interviews with candidates & hiring managersPosting new job ads & managing/auditing online posting portalsPreparing employment offer lettersMonitoring pre-employment background check processProcessing department invoices Assisting Vice President of Human Resources with scheduling meetings, presentations, & project related tasks The successful candidate will demonstrate A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience2 years of relevant work experience; prior experience supporting a Recruiting or HR team preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; aptitude and desire to learn new technologiesAbility to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of responsibilitiesStrong focus on client service and responsivenessAbility to work accurately and effectively in a fast-paced environmentAptitude for effective and creative problem solvingAbility to respond effectively and timely to sensitive inquiries or complaintsExcellent organizational skillsAbility to execute tasks associated with project plans If you have a can-do attitude and are looking to be part of a highly motivated team of individuals that are naturally ambitious and driven, we'd love to hear from you.
