Legal Placements, Inc. is currently working with a successful national law firm that is actively seeking a Professional Development Assistant to support their Attorney Training and Development Manager. This is a vital department in any law firm! The primary responsibilities will be planning and executing training programs for attorneys, Continuing Legal Education (CLE) administration, associating evaluations, maintaining bar memberships, and administrating pro bono programs. The successful candidate will act as a liaison for training with committees, practice groups, administrative departments, attorneys, and staff throughout the Firm. This candidate will maintain department administrative files, keep financial record and assist with department budget analysis. The Firm is seeking an individual with excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact in a professional manner with attorneys and other personnel at all levels. A Bachelor's degree and prior administrative experience is required; prior program coordination experience is a plus. The applicant must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, highly organized, have great attention to detail, and be able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
