Qualifications Education/Training (both required and desired): High School diploma required Military Metrology and Calibration Training Associates Degree in management or technical/scientific discipline desiredExperience: 5+ years of professional experience in the required task areaSecurity: Must be a US citizen Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required Duties May Include Develops calibration equipment lists for Naval Aviation intermediate and depot level calibration laboratories.Assess alternative equipment and procedures to establish optimal equipment allowances.Works independently and as part of a team to research data and to develop and document analytical techniques and methods.Develops automated processes to manage, control and publish large complex data sets using Microsoft Access and Excel and other applicationsExpertise in either topic below (both desired) Metrology and Calibration Navy METCAL calibration reference standards management and support processes Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) calibration and repair TMDE production planning Quality assurance, quality control, and independent verification and validation techniques. Data Analysis Analytical methods Microsoft Excel and or Access Data Charting and Reporting Other duties as assigned
