Serve as technical lead in development teams' efforts to determine stakeholder needs and architect solutions. Assess high-level design issues relating to platform, enterprise software, and interactions with other systems.KEY JOB FUNCTIONSProvide design leadership in large or complex development projects involving application development, migrations, and additions to existing applications. Participate in project meetings with other technical staff and business owners and subject matter experts. Assess and develop high level design requirements for project and communicate in writing or in meetings with development team. Assess detailed specifications against design requirements. Review application in progress of development to ensure compliance with overall design parameters and corporate development standards. Guide programmers/developers on technical issues. Develop or review development of test protocols for testing application before user acceptance. Review test results and direct further development. May serve as technical lead, architect, project lead or principle developer in course of large or complex project. May mentor or guide work of less experienced programming and development staff. Specialized Knowledge & Skills10 years of professional hands-on software development experience, preferably within large enterprise environments 4 years of professional technical solutions architecture experience Experience with the following required: Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate (or another type of full stack development experience) JavaScript / AngularJS (jQuery / Backbone / any other JS web framework desired) JavaScript-level error-handling REST Web Services RDBMS / SQL Agile / Scrum / Kanban Unix Shell/Perl Scripting Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)Preferred experience may include: ServiceNow Cloud technology or ITSM Tool Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to lead large enterprise development and integration projects. Experience engaging with various internal stakeholders at all levels.
