POSITION SUMMARY This position will provide compensation support for Manager and professional jobs to the Compensation Manager. Key compensation responsibilities include: creating and maintaining compensation related reports to administrate the MaGS and Global Job Codes, participating in surveys and reviewing market data, and ensuring the HR Generalists community receives compensation support for newly created jobs accurately and timely. In addition, this position will assist the Compensation Manager by continuously monitoring the effectiveness of compensation programs and initiatives created by the Zone and Corporate Nestle SA compensation teams by developing impact analysis of these programs as they relate to the general competitiveness, cost-effectiveness, best-practice, and/or legal issues. During large projects this position will assist in providing support to the compensation team member who is leading the project by providing audit, communication development, and testing support. Market Pricing and Salary Administration Coordinate and participate in all facets of Nestle USA's compensation benchmarking/market-pricing. This will include job matching, attending industry survey meetings, preparing survey submissions, and analyzing survey results. Work with the HR Generalists to prepare a compensation recommendation for review by the Compensation Manager. Support the Plant HR Managers by providing support in job analysis/evaluation, new job code/title approvals, internal equity studies, market pricing, Fair Labor Standards Act evaluations, and other special studies such as EEO audits, etc. Company-wide Compensation Initiatives Evaluate new compensation initiatives by providing an impact analysis to the Compensation Manager and Head of Compensation. This will include evaluating the overall impact to existing processes, how data is maintained in SAP, and the legal issues. Current programs consist of the Global Job Code mapping and Job Title Consistency projects. Review executive jobs using the MaGS (IPE3 MERCER) process and submit to Compensation Manager for approval. After receiving approval send to Nestle SA for final approval. Assist other compensation consultants by preparing salary revision documents for submission to Zone HR. Compensation Projects Assist compensation manager by and planning processes; includes compensation system design, testing, and training for users; drafts planning process guidelines and instructions; coordinates with HRIS team and compensation analysts supporting company divisions on system design and set-up. Assist other Compensation Consultants in the administration of the annual salary increase administration and STI administration by administrating the Inpat and Expat review process. Provide summaries and after action reviews of Annual processes (ie merit summary, apex summary, etc.). Compensation Audit, Job Descriptions, and Data Updates Draft communication materials and programs to educate HR generalists, employees, and managers about company pay philosophy and compensation programs. Assist the Compensation Manager during internal audits by pulling information from the SAP system. Update reports for compensation department to ensure data is accurate and timely. Develop new reports for the Head of Compensation and Sr VP HR to ensure they have access to executive data in a user friendly way. Work with the HRIS group to develop reports on-line with compensation data including (LTIP, APEX, and Perqs.). REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL: Bachelor's degree in human resource management, business administration or a related field. EXPERIENCE: 3 years experience in HR in compensation administration.
