Federal Software Account Executive

Position Description: Novetta is looking to hire a Senior Software Account Executive to cover the Federal Government. Primary job duty is serve as a client advocate for your customer and to identify, qualify and capture opportunities. You will also be responsible to manage your territory including the entire sales process from business development prospecting and specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support. You will leverage the Novetta sales model to maximize revenue growth and increase local market share. In this role you will:Penetrate and create Federal software sales opportunities in the area of big data analytics and open source/media analyticsIdentify, cultivate and formalize relationships with key partners and 3rd parties involved in the advising on, and selling of advanced analytics software solutions to the Federal GovernmentUse technical and value based knowledge to create leads out of cold (or warm) outbound prospecting and ask qualifying questions to better understand needs and timing and determine if Novetta is a good fit for prospectHelp identify, design and execute outbound sales and marketing events and campaigns against designated targetsGenerate interest through follow up with relevant messaging based upon targeted segmentAdd additional software sales pipeline to increase the chances of success of Novetta over the long termFollow up continuously on all potential software sales processes to advance target accounts towards closingProactively communicate with prospects, management and the Novetta team the status of all accountsBe on the "front-lines" and relay any information about the Federal market that may be of value to the team as it relates to best practices, new features, competitive pressures, etc.Work as a team player to help make your peers and Novetta betterAttend weekly software sales call and be prepared to discuss status of your accounts and activityAttend a quarterly software sales meeting to discuss your business plan to overachieve your quotaKeep all deals updated in SFDCMeet quota Basic Qualifications:10+ years' experience selling complex software solutions to Federal government clients10+ years experience in full lifecycle software sales processes as the focal point for clients for all sales related issues.Excellent communication skills and problem solving ability.Business development, prospecting and presentation skills.Proven track record of exceeding sales objective and territory/account development Desired Skills:Extremely strong analytical background with ability to quickly learn product(s) and issues associated with big data analytics and open source/media analytics.Ability to introduce Novetta to Federal clients new to Novetta.
