Position Description:Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with government clientsReview, update, and maintain File Scanning Plan, Physical File Management Plan, and Standard Operating Procedure documentationProvide subject matter expertise on best practices for records management and archiving of sensitive federal agency documentationHelp recommend and implement improvements to interim and to-be processes for file digitization and electronic delivery to end usersProvide management oversight over scan technicians performing scan acquisition, scan quality assurance, and file inventory activitiesAssist with scan acquisition, scan quality assurance, and file inventory activitiesCoordinate with government clients in support of physical file inventory and tracking, electronic file delivery coordination and tracking, and physical file retirement to off-site government records service centerProfessionally and responsibly represent both the company's and the government's best interests Basic Qualifications:Active Secret clearanceBachelor's degreeExperience working as a functional supervisor of day-to-day activities of other staffFamiliarity with National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) and federal agency records management and archiving standards, including familiarity with file disposition schedulesA minimum of three years of relevant experience in the following areas:Experience working in a federal government contracting environmentExperience with records management and archiving activitiesExperience working with digital records Desired Skills:Advanced degree in Library Science or a related disciplineExperience in a project involving digitization of hard copy recordsExperience in an environment supporting case management and/or personnel background investigations Get a referral bonus for the great people you know!
