Orion is seeking former and transitioning military technicians for HVAC and Power Technician roles. We understand that transitioning military candidates may not have experience on all the equipment that we work on, however, the company values your leadership experience, work ethic, and ability to learn and adapt. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE MILITARY EXPERIENCE. THANK YOU Salary: $22-$26/hr, plus Overtime 6%-15% Annual Bonus (typically $3K-$12K). Total compensation typically ranges between $70K-$80K. HVAC Technician As an HVAC Technician, your responsibilities will include: Troubleshooting equipment failures both in-house and on customer locations and handling repairs of equipment as directed by the supervisor. Performing preventive maintenance and repairs of HVAC and Temperature Control equipment and documents as directed by the supervisor. Working on Air conditioners up to 70 tons, Chillers up to 200 tons, including low temp chillers. Completing necessary paper work timely and accurately which may include data entry and general use of relevant computer systems and software as directed. Setting up and operating equipment as directed both in-house and at customer locations. Utilizing mathematical formulas to determine both nominal and effective kw requirements. Maintaining thorough knowledge of and capability in reading and understanding schematics. Maintaining thorough knowledge of, actively practicing, and promoting safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA, EPA and other required regulations dealing with safe operation of all equipment. Obtaining and maintaining necessary certifications required to operate any equipment as needed. Preparing various reports as directed to maintain accurate records on equipment and preventive maintenance. Being able to travel when required. Driving for results to achieve standards of excellence and achieve 'step changes' in business results. JB.0.16.LN
