Asa member of Santandera s retail banking division youa ll help serve Santandera sretail and small business customers as part of one of the top banks in theUnited States based on deposits With principal presence in the northeastU S Santandera s retail division offers consumer and lending products to helpour customers reach their financial goals Santander currently servesnearly million retail customers and of the million small businessesin the US footprint have a transactional account with Santander Bank Responsibilities Manages the delivery ofcustomer first service excellence Responsible for theadministration of sales service operational efficiency risk applications internal control and Human Resources management activities to meet bankobjectives for the branch Develops a culturewithin the branch in which quality and continuous improvement on allperformance accountabilities are understood and utilized by all employees Ensures the team isfocused on the acquisition of new business and personal relationships and theretention and expansion of existing relationships Reports to the RetailDistrict Executive Analyzes branch expensesand implements strategies to reduce overhead Directs the development implementation and useof productive sales strategies and techniques generating additional bankbusiness through any mean or channel provided by the Bank Focuses on increasing Bank products and services sales number of clients its business relation with the bank and alwaysfollowing the established policy and procedures Formulates and executes a customized team plan toacquire new retain and grow existing SME and personal relationships Manages coaches directs and motivates everybranch team member to promote and maximize sales opportunities Takes responsibility for delivering CustomerFirst Service Excellence which meets and exceeds the customersa expectations On the SME side and along with the BBR focuseson companies with revenues less than Million performing significantcalling activity on existing SME customers prospects and Centers of Influence to develop new business and to retain Participates in branch functions and communityactivities to promote bank s image and growth ensuring that the Bank maintainsa strong local presence Qualifications Minimum of yearof sales management in banking or financialservices environment or years of experience in retail salesmanagement Graduation from anationally recognized sales management trainee program Proven capacity tomanage a sales process within an incentive based environment Leadership skills anddemonstrated experience mentoring and developing a team At Least Years SpecializedKnowledge Ability to manage supervise instruct and coach Advanced knowledge ofall Retail and Small business products and services and fluency in businessacumen and in SME credit Understands allappropriate policies and procedures and process that impact work activities In compliance with the requirements outlinedwithin the Compensation Requirements under the Truth in Lending Act LO CompRule effective January st Santander Bank will now perform a creditcheck as part of and in addition to the existing background check for allpositions where one must perform job functions of a loan originator as definedby the LO Comp Rule
