Inside Sales Manager
Role Summary: The role will involve multi-tasking on many different levels in a Commercial/Sales capacity for the Filtration Technologies business. The role will be an extension of both the customer service and the sales organizations. Leveraging CRM system and sales metrics to optimize performance and assist sales team in identifying growth areas. Major objectives will include: Closing new business opportunities; creating, measuring and maintaining customer data; reporting results and initiating action on behalf of customers. This role will work hand-in-hand with the Global Sales Director for Filtration Technologies, supplementing and supporting their activities. An employee in this position must focus on customers' expectations, responding in real-time to inquiries, prevent problems (and elevate them to the appropriate management level, when needed), and strive for continuous improvement resulting in improved results for themselves, customers and the overall business.Essential Functions: Proactively manage portfolio of customers in order to both maintain and grow business (LAMP)Identify and foster opportunities for new product sales (Strategic Selling)Maximize annual sales budgets for designated accounts and act as liaison between field sales, customers and manufacturing.Generates sales metrics and financial reports for the sales and business development organizations.Role is responsible for regular communication with the filtration manufacturing facility in Hangzhou, China which will require working hours outside of traditional Gaithersburg office hours.
