Overview Wea re searching for a results oriented dynamic individual to lead the definition and implementation of our go to market activities Youa ll have a successful track record in developing strategic and tactical customer acquisition plans product positioning messages media strategy and marketing launch plans necessary to meet brand development goals Product marketing leads manages or is directly involved in all customer facing marketing activities for the Payment business This is an outbound marketing position with direct and indirect responsibilities covering messaging and positioning thought leadership research lead generation opportunity analysis market requirements competitive analysis sales tools sales support white papers and other customer facing functions The Product Marketing Sr Manager Director will work with all marketing and sales functions to support revenue achievement Responsibilities Develop innovative positioning messaging pricing product differentiation and go to market strategies Define value positioning for products Identify new market opportunities supported by strategic business cases that balance a favourable return on investment with customer needs Maintain strong knowledge of software features in the Sage product lines in order to be effective in cross sell initiatives Provide research and analysis of competitive products and emerging technologies within designated target markets Perform research on product price changes as well as competitive pricing options in order to ensure appropriate price levels for Sage products Develop and initiate promotional activities including print online special events and trade shows Maintain key external content such as brochures web pages multimedia presentations and other collateral leveraging internal resources when appropriate Assist sales in resolving issues and challenges regarding product functionality and positioning Work closely with the product management to ensure deliverables accurately reflect the product and meet the needs of sales partners prospects and customers Act as a thought leader and participate in external facing webinars and speaking engagements Qualifications Minimum years of product marketing experience as part of years of total technology Bachelor degree required MBA strongly preferred Marketing or business management background Proven experience with business management and or financial software applications requiredSales or marketing experience in the fintech or business management software industry is strongly desired The ideal candidate will have the acumen to handle both complex and ambiguous situations and multiple responsibilities simultaneously mixing long term goals with the urgency of immediate demands The right individual will be a strong collaborator able to think creatively and will be excellent with numbers This individual must have the ability to work with others to find solutions drive execution and focus on results Excellent communications skills verbal written and interpersonal required Ability to initiate ideas and develop recommendations at an upper management level
