The SME will develop RF hardware for advanced systems applications, and will be using industry simulation tools to design printed circuit boards for applications across the RF spectrum. Qualifications Required (Skills) * BS in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering or equivalent* Minimum 7 years' experience in a related field* Experience in Radio Frequency (RF) hardware design* Experience with microwave simulator such as HFSS* Experience using Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design and circuit simulation tools* MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE, FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A US CITIZEN. IF YOU DO NOT MEET THIS REQUIREMENT, YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. General Education/Years of Experience BS or equiv; min 7 yrs related exp US Citizenship Yes Security Clearance Level Secret Drug Screen Type None Export Control and Licensing None Background Check Type 7 year Qualifications Desired * MS in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering is a strong plus* Experience with Electronic Warfare (EW)* Experience with RF communications* Experience with ruggedized space hardware design* Experience in antenna design and modeling* Experience with developing embedded digital signal processing on FPGAs, DSPs and/or microprocessors* Experience with FPGA design (control, communication, DSP logic)* Experience with RF wideband design with ability to design against potential range of center frequencies, covering High Frequency to Millimeter Wave (3 Mhz - 35 Ghz)* Experience with signal integrity analysis* Lab and RF/electronic test equipment experience* Experience in Software Defined Radio (SDR) development* Active and current TS/SCI with Counterintelligence Polygraph Division Description The National Security Solutions (NSS) Division provides security solutions for the United States government.
