The Social Media Strategist and Project Manager will partner with clients to not only understand and articulate their business needs in the social space, but also effectively plan and execute innovative, cross-channel marketing solutions in response to those needs. The Social Media Strategist and Project Manager should be a forward-thinking, strategic marketing manager supporting various clients, with a focus on close internal collaboration in the development and implementation of communications and content-driven ideas across a range of media. In concert with members of the Content Studio team, s/he will play a proactive role in helping to identify what content should be created and when based on business objectives, value to the consumer, cultural relevance and platform knowledge. S/he helps to integrate content with traditional marketing efforts. RESPONSIBILITIES:Leverage knowledge of marketing communications strategy and brand acumen to guide the development of sound social media solutions across a variety of platformsDeliver actionable campaign and content insights to clients and/or brand partners with an aim to drive best-in-class marketing programmingWork as needed with creative team to scope and shape concepts and executions (video production, design and copy)Gather strategic business insights to develop comprehensive briefing documents to ensure the social, editorial and creative teams' understanding of projects and/or assignmentsWork with account services leads to proactively engage teams early in the process-planning/forecasting work up front and holding "discovery meetings" to inform projects before they beginWorking in conjunction with account services, operate as a liaison between creative, editorial and social stakeholders, clients and external/internal business partners/vendorsAs needed, work as the agency's point of contact for client's outside vendors in the social space Communicate priorities, needs, challenges and opportunities as appropriate to other internal cross-functional team membersIndependently or in concert with colleagues, regularly and proactively update intra- and interdepartmental teammates on items such as project status briefs, meeting summaries, performance metrics, and budget-versus-actual reportsPartner with creative and/or account service team to present deck and/or assets to clientsShepherd projects from concept to completion, collaborating with teams along the wayQUALIFICATIONS:Demonstrated experience and expertise with integrated, cross-platform marketing communication strategy and execution.Demonstrated experience partnering with teams to help set the vision and strategy for social content and marketing communication goalsProven ability to support the production and distribution of engaging, results-driven contentExpert ability to manage and guide projects from kickoff to completion, while communicating effectively and regularly with internal and external stakeholdersStrong sense of timing, and ability to multitaskPossesses the confidence and organization needed to ensure that projects are executed on time, within budget and in line with client objectivesA comprehensive understanding of the role content plays within multiple marketing channels to reach consumers, engage them and add valueA deep and comprehensive understanding of how social strategies can be executed on various platformsAbility to succeed under pressureExceptional attention to detail, organizational and strong communication skills (written and verbal)Exceptional client relationship management skillsWillingness to embrace change and adapt/adopt strategies on the flyWe've got you covered.Compensation Package.
