Tracking Code 1795-683 Job Description Job Description: The Systems Developer will actively participate in the full life cycle of developing custom business applications or implementing 3rd party systems in a complex client-server environment.DUTIES, ACTIVITIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Systems DevelopmentDevelop an extensive understanding of the functional business areas supported.Gather requirements and design solutions for system enhancements and small-to-medium sized applications.Develop client-server database applications using Object Oriented techniques and industry best practices and standards.Develop client training and documentation for supported applications.Provide day-to-day and after-hours support of existing applications.Provide mentorship to junior developers in technical skills and business knowledge.Effectively convey technical solutions to clients, partners, and team members through oral and written communication. QUALIFICATIONS: Education and ExperienceB.S. in computer science or related field, or 5+ years in an enterprise computing environment3+ years of relevant business systems development experience in VB.NET and/or C#Technical expertise in database design and writing SQL queries and stored proceduresMicrosoft ASP.NET MVC and/or Angular development experience preferredSkillsAdvanced knowledge of Object Oriented programming, client-server development and relational database conceptsTechnical expertise in C#, T-SQL, and Entity FrameworkTechnical expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Angular JSAbility to remain organized through high workload volumes with multiple prioritiesExcellent time management skills and ability to meet assigned deadlinesCapable of performing assigned functions with little or no oversightAbility to analyze causes of and implement solutions to technical and system issuesCapable of interpreting and developing technical instructions, diagrams, and statistical reportsMathematical Skills:Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts like addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in the completion of related tasks. Reasoning Ability:Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Typically works in an office environment or occasionally on or around the manufacturing floor. The noise level is usually moderate.
