Tracking Code 1783-683 Job Description American Woodmark has an immediate need for a Benefits Analyst at the Corporate headquarters in Winchester, Virginia. PURPOSE:This position is responsible for the coordination and administrative support of the benefit plans at a companywide level.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Provide client support to all AWC locations and participants on matters relating to employee benefit plansManage the various Health and Welfare enrollment processes and reports to ensure a timely and compliant enrollmentReview weekly error reports from Health and Welfare vendors and work to correctMonthly audit of health care eligibility report (COBRA and AWC terms)Maintain employee information pertaining to healthcare (new enrollments, life status changes, open enrollment etc.) in all appropriate systemsProcess, audit, and upload weekly HSA and FSA payments to ensure timely deposits of contributionsProcess payments from employees on unpaid leaveProcess weekly billing from vendors through approval process to ensure timely payment to providersAudit employee status to ensure location HR management is collecting unpaid premiumsManage EOI process for open enrollment and new hire enrollment for income replacementSupport the benefits team during the salaried corporate orientation as a backup presenterManage the Holcomb Scholarship Program to include processing of payments to schoolsManage the Service Award process to include management of token inventory and gift card distributionAssist in the filing and management of Income Replacement claims and beneficiary designationData entry as required for all benefit programsMaintain employee benefits filesProvide assistance to location regarding company leave rules and process to include the processing of FMLA and A&SAll other duties as assignedSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:This position typically does not have supervisory responsibilities.QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.Education, Experience and SkillsBachelor degree in Human Resources or related discipline preferred (relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of education)Minimum 2-3 years of Customer Service experienceMinimum of 0-3 years of Human Resources experience; preferably in benefits.Problem solving skillsAbility to build effective business relationships and work effectively with all levels of employees within AWC's organization and vendor communityExcellent personal computer skills in a network environment; (MS: Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and Outlook)H.R. systems experience with Accero, HR Data, DBCalc., and vendor websitesTrack record of successful project managementStrong planning, organizational and time management skillsDemonstrated problem solving skillsAttention to detailUtmost discretion in handling confidential informationExcellent communication skills and professional telephone demeanorThe ability to actively participate as a team playerCommunication Skills: Must be able to read, analyze and interpret benefit plan documents and must be able to communicate these polices and requirements to clients (employees/participants and location HR representatives) and providers (vendors). Ability to deliver presentations to new hires and current employees regarding the benefit plans. Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts like addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in the completion of related tasks. Reasoning Ability:Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Typically works in an office environment or occasionally on or around the manufacturing floor. The noise level is usually moderate. Occasional evening and weekend work required.WORKING ENVIRONMENT:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.
