The Human Resources Intern provides support to the HR Department with branding, recruitment, wellness, and employment related tasks. The candidate will also participate in various writing, communications and research tasks. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Prepares and sends new hire packets, creates and maintains new hire employment files, sources candidates for various positionsAssists with preparation of New Hire Orientation and ensures all new hire forms are completeHelps coordinate the Internship Program-establishes relationships with target colleges and universities, coordinates the recruitment of intern candidatesParticipates in the promotion and coordination of all of our staff programsAssists with maintaining SharePoint siteSupports various HR projects which could include internal branding, conducting literature review and research, benchmarking studies, contributing to grant proposalsAssist with employee file managementQualificationsCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field from an accredited university- Junior or Senior preferredExperience utilizing social media or branding strongly preferredAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast paced environmentSolid communication and problem solving skills with high attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsWillingness to adapt to changing circumstancesSolid computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePointAdministrative, organization, customer service and project management skillsHighly motivated and self-directed with strong time management skillsLegally eligible to work in the US without a sponsorship requirement
