We're on the hunt for a marketer with 3-4 years of experience that can help us drive business travel with Choice Hotels. In this role, you'll work on digital marketing campaigns across sales channels, coordinate tradeshows and events, and design sales tools and presentations to help sell our hotel portfolio to corporate clients. If you're organized, creative and eager to learn, this could be the next role to grow your marketing career.What you will do B2B Event Management Coordinate the planning and implementation of Global Sales' industry events, including GBTA and IPW.Work with the industry associations to identify, secure and execute event sponsorship opportunities.Liaise with sales leaders to ensure the tradeshow presence supports business objectives.Measure and evaluate the impact that Marketing has during events to identify opportunities for growth.Ensure the sales team has access to required assets for industry events, including tradeshow material and promotional items. Continually evaluate existing material to ensure it supports the team's business needs.Manage the Marketing & Distribution tradeshow presence for the Choice Hotels Annual Convention, including coordinating content, booth design and staffing across departments.Industry Sales Marketing Lead the development and execution of digital marketing plans for industry sales channels, including travel agency and Affinity partners.Serve as the primary marketing contact with industry partners and sales leads to ensure all business requirements are met.Establish metrics and processes to evaluate success.B2B Product Marketing & Communications ProgramsWork with agencies and designers to develop product collateral, sales presentations, website content and email campaigns to targeted customer segments.Execute the advertising programs, including working with media and creative agencies. Includes identifying KPIs and measuring, tracking and analyzing the success of campaigns.Develop B2B communication plans and liaise with marketing and sales counterparts to execute via SalesForce and Pardot.Support creative brief development and manage approval process with stakeholders.Deliver creative briefs to agencies to ensure work is executed against the brief.Attend key conferences as needed.Provide excellent internal and external customer service.Administrative/General SupportDevelop status reports, conference reports and timelines / deadlines.Continuously keep up on industry trends, direction, opportunities, and applicability as it pertains to Choice.Track and manage timelines and budgets to ensure projects are completed within established requirements.Review vendor invoices for accuracy, attachment of appropriate back-up delivery of materials as ordered, and routes for final authorization and processing.Ensure all graphic elements and content have been cleared by Legal, and that all corporate and brand identity standards are used correctly.Maintain complete and properly documented files for all assigned projects oversees accuracy/relevance of creative binders for future reference, and follows all Corporate and Dept. Policies and Procedures, including processing of supplier invoices within 48 hours.Manage quality assurance throughout the pre- and production phases, including accuracy of content, grammar, spelling and positioning tonality.Skills you have Education, Experience and Knowledge3-4 years relevant marketing experience at an advertising agency, in-house advertising/marketing communications department, or brand management function. B2B marketing and event experience preferred.Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising or Communications, or related field, from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Demonstrated success in driving and executing implementation of sales communications/marketing plans.Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of integrated marketing communication utilizing both traditional and new media.SkillsStrong verbal, written and listening communication skills.Strong presentation skills.Strong interpersonal skills and demeanor.Demonstrated project management skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
