Job DescriptionThe Desktop Support Specialist's main mission is to provide stellar technical customer support to employees.OVH US is currently expanding our office and we are looking for a technical team member to set up new laptops, and troubleshoot & resolve all end user hardware and software issues. We need a strong technical individual with the drive and vision to take care of all office and desktop needs. This is an exciting opportunity to help us grow in the US.Key ResponsibilitiesImage, install, configure, support, monitor, test, and troubleshoot hardware and software problems pertaining to MAC and Windows based systemsProvide World Class Customer Service to internal customersSupport the creation, maintenance and implementation of procedures regarding how problems are identified, received, documented, distributed and correctedAssign, document, and maintain computer logins, certificates, passwords, and access profiles for software applications, network access, and telecommunications systemsConfigures all workstations and laptop hardware according to organization's standardsDiagnoses and repairs desktop and laptop equipment including but not limited to: hard drives, monitors, and printers at end user work stationsInteract with HR for onboarding and offboarding employeesAssist in the identification of potential security issues and recommended strategy to ensure site securityMakes self-available to other staff members as a source of informationRequired Skills and BackgroundRequires two years related experience, (hands-on experience preferred)Prior experience supporting Executive level staff is desirableExperience with MAC OS, MAC hardware, and Microsoft desktop operating systemsKnowledge of PC hardware and supportKnowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft SharepointBasic knowledge of network connectivityBasic knowledge of Email clientsGood written and oral communication skillsAbility to set priorities based on workloadHighly driven, self-managed, able to demonstrate initiative and proactively seek solutions to problemsExcellent problem analysis and critical thinking experienceAbility to communicate effectively in French (highly preferred)
