The senior technical lead responsible for administration and maintenance of the Cisco Network Admission Control (CNAC) system.  Support shall include, but is not limited to these activities:

    Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer as needed to other CNAC team members, regardless of contract or government status Train IT staff to use the system as needed Provide advanced resolution of incidents and problems Recommend, plan, lead, and carry out CNAC projects to improve performance of the system, to deploy CNAC to sites, move or coordinate the move of system components as necessary, improve processes and procedures, and perform routine application or hardware upgrades. Configuration and change activities are included in this activity. (Note: Complex upgrades are designed, and in some instances, deployed by the IT Engineering Division.) Create custom monitoring and reporting Create specialized reports upon request Configure system to meet user needs Perform routine maintenance including but not limited to: patching the CNAC equipment, monitoring operating status of the system, providing reports, and coordinating with other teams both within and external to the IT Services Division as required.
Education Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

Qualifications 8-10 years of related systems engineering experience.


    (Required) Extensive experience with the Cisco Network Admission Control (Required) Cisco Certified Network Associate certification (Preferred) Cisco Certified Network Professional (Preferred) Experience with virtual environments (Optional) Experience with other EMS tools
