The Health and Civilian Solutions Division of GDIT is hiring for an Administrative Assistant to support the program management team of the CCO contract.   This individual will report to the Vice President of CCO.  The work environment will be fast-paced and will require an individual who to juggle many different tasks while paying attention to details and ensuring deadlines are met.  The job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

    Prepares and types correspondence, reports, presentation materials, and memoranda.Answers and screens telephone calls and responds to routine inquiries.Prepares and maintains files and other records.Schedules and maintains calendar of appointments, meetings, and travel itineraries, and coordinates related arrangements.May provide leadership to less-experienced administrative staffProcesses expense reports.

    May design spreadsheets and maintain simple databases.

    Participates in special projects as required

Education Associates Degree in a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.

    5-8 years years of related administrative experience is requiredExpert level PowerPoint proficiency is requiredGovernment contracting experience is strongly preferredAttention to detail is requiredAbility to prioritize work will be a key to successStrong written and verbal communication skills are requiredEffective administrative and organizational skills.Proficiency in the use of general office equipment, such as typewriter, fax machine, photocopier, and personal computer.Proficiency in the use of basic office-related software applications, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPointRequires a comprehensive knowledge of organizational policies, practices and proceduresEffective communication skills



Working Conditions:


The work is typically performed in an office environment, which requires proper safety and security precautions.  To ensure our contact center production area is at a minimal risk for unauthorized disclosure (that is, the release or divulgence of information by an entity to persons or organizations outside of that entity) of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or Protected Health Information (PHI), the work environment operates under a Secure Floor Policy.  The Secure Floor Policy limits or restricts personal belongings, electronic devices, or paper that can be brought into production areas.


Work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes, or equipment.
