The position is located at the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Resident Services, Admissions. The Contact Representative is responsible for carrying out overall objectives of the Admissions Office and ensuring the effectiveness in meeting campus-operating programs. The incumbent of this position conveys to the residents through guidance, example and problem solving skills that the Admissions Office meets the needs of the residents with supportive solutions.

Typing Requirement: You must be able to type at least 40 words per minute.
Specialized experience: For the GS-05, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-04 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience or General experience for this position includes:
-Applying a standardized body of rules, procedures, and operations sufficient to perform a full range of support assignments (examples of support assignments may include: reviewing reports, recognizing errors, and reconciling problems)
-Providing customer service with individuals.
You may substitute education for specialized experience as follows: - Completion of 4 years of education above high school
You may qualify by a combination of experience and education. Options for qualifying based on a combination will be identified in the online questions.
The education generally must be from an accredited (or pre-accredited) college or university recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
