Director, Management and Administration
NNSA is a semi-autonomous organized agency of the Department of Energy. We manage highly visible U.S. National Security Programs, enhance U.S. national security through research, development, production, assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of the U.S. nuclear weapons stockpile, promote international nuclear non-proliferation and safety, reduce global danger from weapons of mass destruction, provide the U.S. Navy with safe and effective nuclear propulsion, and oversee national laboratories and other production facilities to maintain U.S. leadership in science and technology.

To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, candidates must meet the specialized experience at a senior level which demonstrates ability to perform the duties described above; including progressively responsible supervisory or managerial experience demonstrating ability to manage people and resources.
Candidates must fully address all Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs) and Mandatory Technical Qualifications (MTQs) in order to receive consideration. 1. Extensive knowledge of Human Capital Management (HCM) programs for a large technical organization, including, but not limited to, programs involving alternative personnel systems, civilian recruitment and diversity outreach, corporate workforce planning, knowledge management, organizational skills assessments, professional development/learning programs, and Equal Opportunity programs.
2. Demonstrates extensive knowledge of federal and military facility management, procurement, budgets, and administrative support programs.
3. Demonstrates expertise and in-depth knowledge in the career management, performance management, training, and professional development of active duty military personnel. Demonstrates experience in recruiting high-quality personnel for technical active duty military positions. This includes the ability to work with a wide variety of people, effectively communicate with various external organizations and facilitate progress on a regular basis and work towards a common goal of recruiting for a large technical organization.
There is no education requirement.
