This position is located in the Executive Office of the President (EOP), Office of Administration (OA), Office of the Chief of Operations (OCOS), Mail and Logistics Management Office (MLMO), Supply, Storage & Distribution Management Division (SSDMD), Distribution and Storage Branch (DSB). The position serves as a Supply Technician (MVO) and work is performed at the Joint Base Anacostia-Boiling (JBAB). This position performs work in support of the Remote Delivery Site (RDS), primarily in asset management (inventory and storage management) and in receiving and distribution of supplies. Supplies, stock, and property maintained and/or stored in the RDS include a variety of items ranging from office supplies to achieved records to large lots of furniture and equipment.

  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: All applicants must meet the qualification requirements outlined below to be considered minimally qualified for this position. The qualification requirements are in accordance with the OPM Qualification Standards. ALL QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE MET BY THE CLOSING DATE OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT.

    SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:

    You may qualify at the GS-07 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirements:

    • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector that demonstrates your ability to 1) Receives, inspects and stocks supplies; 2) Verifies shipping documents; 3) Utilizes Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) in performance of duties; 4) Inputs data into various automated systems to properly annotate newly-received stock.
    Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
