Requirements

  • Will Interact regularly with team and customers to ensure conformance to customer requirements.
  • May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced employees.
  • Recruit presenters and work with them on content requirements, expectations, and process.
  • Oversee webinar team to ensure milestones are met.
  • Review webinar after action reports and develop them as necessary.
  • Oversee event promotion activities, target audience identification and the outreach plan.
  • Develop knowledge check questions for learners to earn continuing education credit.
  • Support execution of webinar and live activities as needed; local travel from regular jobsite required.
  • Support the development of quarterly reports to document results of customer feedback regarding various hosted events.
  • Make decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative and have an important impact on extensive scientific activities of the organization.
  • Participate in annual, fiscal year webinar planning for themes, speakers, and topics. Provide clinical expertise as a Clinical Healthcare Subject Matter Expert (SME) in this area.
  • Engage with the DCoE Centers Point of Contact (POC) to identify qualified presenters and moderators.
  • Send presenter invitation packages as needed (to include instructions, timelines, and expectations).
  • Develop with the Centers POC, a cogent event title, summary information, and measurable learning objectives.
  • Verify presenter submissions curriculum vitae’s, applicable disclosures, and other agreements.
  • Facilitate finalization of summary text through public affairs and Center POCs for submission to the continuing education provider.
  • Engage with the continuing education liaison (working as a team) to close remaining gaps and ensure the success of each webinar and training.
  • Facilitate communications through the continuing education liaison to the continuing education provider.
  • Provide quality check point on deliverables, other written document, and technical requirements.
  • Act as backup technical support when necessary to execute webinars, support hybrid and virtual conferences, and attend/support other meetings and events.
  • Provide general support and cross trained to support the entire External Professional Development and Education team to ensure the success of the contract. All team members support all areas.
  • Conducts outreach to stakeholders through calls and email to increase attendance at events.
  • One day of telework per week will be considered after six months of successful employment.
  • Local travel required
Education
  • Master’s Degree in clinical health care science (Psychology, Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physician Assistant, Clinical Social Work or Counseling, or related field).
  • 5-8 years of post-graduate clinical experience
Qualifications
  • Experience working with the military.
  • Ability to conduct review of the literature and develop resource lists for events.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with current APA Publication Manual. Knowledge and familiarity with current AP Stylebook.
  • Shows initiative and ability to work independently and as a team using problem solving skills.
  • Comfort and confidence in communicating with senior leaders.
  • Ability to represent the customer in meetings when requested.
  • Experience developing knowledge check questions for educational trainings, experience reviewing educational presentations for continuing education events and clinical content and experience working with learning management system.
  • Familiarity with Blooms Taxonomy.
  • Displays a high level of professionalism at all times in a sometime stressful and high paced environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, equipment/systems and techniques used in scientific functional area(s).
  • Expertise with commercial software products such as Microsoft Office, etc. for the use of creating reports and products.
  • Must possess effective listening, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to apply multiple organizational and management improvement techniques within government environments.
  • Flexible team member who thrives in environments requiring ability to effectively prioritize, multitask, and judge concurrent projects.
  • Ability to build rapport and trusting relationships with customer and team members.
