The MIL Corporation seeks an energetic and positive Proposals & Marketing Coordinator to support the Marketing Team. The MIL Corporation is a growing mid-size company that is successful in the delivery of financial, IT and engineering services to Federal Government clients. The position is conveniently located in the heart of Tysons Corner, VA in a pleasant and professional office environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 3 to 5 years of experience who would like to grow with our company.

The Proposals & Marketing Coordinator is a key member of the team, reporting to the Proposals & Marketing Manager, and will support the proposal and sales teams in marketing related pursuits and be responsible for administrative and coordination support to the Proposals and Marketing Department.

o Support proposal coordination duties to include data call management, resume updates and formatting, staff identification, and identifying boilerplate material
o Participate in proposal production to include formatting, printing, book assembly, delivery, and library copies; maintain hard copy proposal library and soft copy graphics library
o Lead the corporate resume process to include administration of the resume database and yearly resume refresh

Pipeline Management:
o Responsible for GovWin CM database to include documentation, training, reporting, and system administration
o Conduct daily analysis of several Federal Government procurement sites to identify and qualify new opportunities
o Understand the MIL Business Sector capabilities and offerings to be able to identify work they may choose to pursue
o Distribute possible opportunities to the VPs and track responses
o Respond to research requests from all 10 VPs to assist them in quantifying new leads and provide additional sales support

Marketing Activities:
o Support event planning to include meetings, conferences, job fairs, and corporate events
o Oversee employee of the month program; solicit winners and interview recipients, draft content for Web site
o Support MIL CARES efforts
o Provide Web site system administration duties to include MILtranet user management (enter and delete employees, password reset) and other general duties
o Assist with Verizon Center Program
o Generate purchase requests for marketing related purchases

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
• Very good research and analysis skills
• Very good organizational skills
• Highly motivated with the ability to take initiative and provide suggestions for improvement
• Very good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to promote best practices
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing schedules in a fast-paced and demanding environment
• Great attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality, accurate work in a timely manner
• High level of proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), WordPress
• Ability to travel occasionally (we strive to manage our workload and do maintain a good work/life balance; circumstances occasionally require travel, late nights or weekend work; however, this is a rarity and not the norm)

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
