Customer Service Representative
CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE - VERSICO Job Summary: Carlisle Construction Materials, a worldwide leading diversified manufacturer of premium building products and related technology has an immediate opening for a Customer Service Representative in its Carlisle, PA location. This position is the primary contract between Versico and all material distributors and is responsible for responding to customer and representative requests promptly and accurately. The Customer Service Representative will be expected to form strong relationships with Customers, Representatives, and Versico Regional Sales Managers Job Responsibilities: Handle all customer requests, managing customer orders from placement through shipment, providing accurate lead times and verifying pricing, credit memos and return authorization requests. Monitor backorders, review rescheduling report daily and communicate in a timely manner with customers on backorder situations. Review open orders on a regular basis and close out old orders as necessary. Maintain a network of appropriate contacts within the various Departments such as Traffic, Purchasing, AP, Production, etc. as well as with external vendors. Job Requirements: A high school diploma is required. A Bachelor's degree in business related field is preferred. Candidates must have a minimum of two (2) years' experience in customer account management. Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. In addition, applicants should also have basic negotiating, multitasking, math and computer skills, including Microsoft Office and experience with an ERP system, SAP highly preferred. Previous knowledge of building products and manufacturing scheduling is a plus.
